League Descriptions

Open Skills Development (6 ends) *NEW

This league is open to both experienced players wanting to brush up on technical skills or learn new skills (e.g. as Vice or Skip) and novice curlers wanting to improve their skills.

The focus is on learning, having fun and providing a league where novice and experienced curlers can interact, support one another, and improve their skills together.

Additional learning opportunities will be provided in the forms of on-ice coaching during games, plus occasional guest speakers and/or brief off-ice sessions after curling. 

Enter as an individual and we will assist in finding a team for you.

This draw will be run as two sessions – you can register for the full year or just one session.

Open Doubles Social *NEW

No-pressure doubles (2 on 2) league where the focus is on learning and having fun.

Enter as an individual - teams are arranged by the drawmaster and switched around during the season. This draw will be run as two sessions. You can register for the full year or just one session.  A variety of doubles curling formats may be used (e.g. Sturling and Doubles formats)

Open Team

“Choose-your-own team” league

Teams can be comprised of any combination of men and women Enter as a team and stay together the entire season

Sign-up as an individual and we will assist in finding a team for you

Open Competitive

“Choose-your-own team” league – more competitive in nature Teams can be comprised of any combination of men and women Enter as a team and stay together the entire season

Men’s or Women’s Social

All male or all female, no-pressure league where the focus is on learning and having fun

Enter as an individual - teams are arranged by the drawmaster and switched around during the season This draw will be run as two sessions. You can register for the full year or just one session

Open Social

No-pressure league where the focus is on learning and having fun

Enter as an individual - teams are arranged by the drawmaster and switched around during the season.

Novice Social

No-pressure league where the focus is on learning and having fun Open to members with 5 years of curling experience or less and

a limited number of experienced curlers (approximately one per team)

Couple’s Social

Curling 101

Six-week instructional league.   Four weeks of instruction to be followed by two weeks of regular games.   Instruction by certified instructors and games supervised by other club members.   Details
