Ontario Men's & Women's Curling Championships
The Elmira & District Curling Club is proud to have hosted the Ontario Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships at the Woolwich Memorial Centre January 4 – 11.
Congratulaions to the two winning teams:
- Team Armstrong from the Whitby Curling Club who will represent Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Mississauga.
- Team King from the London Curling Club who will represent Ontario at the Montana’s Brier in St.John’s, NL.
Thank you to the incredible 200+ volunteers who helped to make the event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And to the local students, many of whom joined us to cheer on the teams on Thursday morning. They also shared their creativity with beautiful artwork that was displayed around the arena during the week. Check it out here.
